Wardrobe Scores

I obsess about my kids clothes. No lie. I worry about what they are going to wear, stress about pieces they are missing in their wardrobe and what new outfits we can make with clothes that they have. The Hubster even feels pressured when he dresses the kids (haha i love writing that) because he feels like he has a standard he must achieve (which he does) which I have created. Yes, all of this is true and I’m ok with that!

I guess I have let myself fall to the wayside. Not in a bad way. I have just focused on my kids so that I haven’ focused on me very much. You see, Little Dude is 3 months old today. Crazy how time flies! I really can’t believe that my little man is already 3 months. It’s really bittersweet. When I gave birth to Princess Peach I lived in Lululemons, cozy sweatshirts and running shoes. I was totally ok with that mommy wardrobe. I’m not sure what it is this time around, but I’m not so into looking schleppy all the time. Maybe it’s because I’ve already lost most of the weight that I’ve gained? With Princess Peach it took about 10 months to lose all the weight. Or maybe it’s that I have spent way too much time in maternity clothes in the past 2.5 years that I’m just over ugly, ill-fitting clothing.  Don’t get me wrong, I totally LOVE my sweats, but maybe  it’s because I’m out and about all the time or that I’m, gasp, growing up but I’m trying to find a balance with my wardrobe. Lately, I’ve had some amazing shopping experiences and added some fantastic pieces to my wardrobe that are not only comfortable but they are easy to wear. Best of all they are all super reasonable so no bank breaking pieces here! Not only can I wear them to music class but I can wear them out at night (if that ever happens!). I’m so thrilled with these pieces that I wanted to share them with you.

Good for you Momma. I am still struggling with my tummy leftovers. Everyone keeps saying just give some time. Your jeans will fit again. But I have been horrifed when trying on new clothes. So I am still in my lulu’s everyday : (
