Ultimate Blog Party 2014 #UBP14

Ultimate Blog Party 2014

Last night I was perusing Twitter as I do most nights days all the time and came across a post by Diana about the Ultimate Blog party 2014.  I was so intrigued so I did some more reading and a little more and decided that I’m going to join in! How could i not? The Ultimate Blog Party 2014 starts today, of all days on my birthday! I also love that this is a chance for me and for your my readers to meet some awesome bloggers and find some new and fabulous blogs to follow!

Headshotsday3-21

If you found my blog through the UBP, welcome! I’m so happy that you came to visit my blog. Let me tell you a bit about me. My name is Renee and I’m a 30-something mom to two amazing little people. Princess Peach is a sassy, creative and smart 2.5 year old. She never forgets anything and never misses a beat! Little Dude is 8 months old and is smiley, daring and into everything! He is going through a rough few weeks of major mommy-itis. When not attached to me, he loves to bang on his toy drum and is already trying to walk! The Hubster and I have been married for almost 5 years! He is laid back, supportive, goofy and an amazing spouse and father which pairs perfectly to my “first child” like behaviours haha.

I have blogged just shy of two years and absolutely love it! Here are a few of my favourite posts:

Identity Theft

 400 days of lessons

Gender Reveal! It’s a …….

 Toddler Crack

We are all mom enough!

If you are a new reader stopping by from the Ultimate Blog Party please say hello! I would love to get to know you too.

Hi Renee. Great to meet you via UBP14. Loved your identity theft post! Being a mom of little children is the toughest job I have ever had.

(P.S. I ried to follow the icon to your Pinterest but the button doesn’t seem to be connected.)

    • mscmommylife says:

Thanks! Being a mom is most definitely the toughest and most underpaid (in dollars) job out there! Thanks for the note about Pinterest. I’m trying to figure out how to fix it!

  2. Monica says:

Hi! Thanks for the Twitter follow! I have a 2.5yr old girl and 3mo old son. Our kids are close in age! Happy UBP14 πŸ™‚

  4. Hi, Renee! I’m visiting from UBP14. I linked to your twitter & saw you had been chatting about Call the Midwife–one of my fave shows—so I knew I had to follow you! Love the line on your “About Me” page about performing dinner theater every night for your little ones. Funny! Have a great weekend.

    • mscmommylife says:

Hi Renee! Thanks for visiting. Great name btw πŸ™‚ My daughter loves to perform so we’ve pretty much turned every meal into a theatre performance!

I can’t believe your little guy is already trying to walk! He must be trying to keep up with big sister.

    • mscmommylife says:

Hi Mandi. I always thought he wouldn’t be on the move for a long time because he didn’t really roll. Well he kind of rolled, scooted, crawled all at once at 5.5 months and hasn’t stopped since!

  11. Hi Renee! Stopping by from UPB14. Thanks for stopping by Home is Where the Mouse is! You and your hubster sound like my husband and me. Happy to have found your blog!

Renee, You have a wonderful writing voice – so humorous and down-to-earth. I love the reflection you have on your life both before kids and now as a mother. I look forward to connecting with you and following your blog. I have a post you may like: http://4ticketsplease.com/2012/11/15/on-coffee-parenting-and-study-abroad/ – its about the change of life from our “younger years” to now.
