T minus 2 weeks

The two-week countdown is on! Princess Peach will be ONE in less than 14 days. How do I have an already almost 1-year-old! HOW?! This is insane! Where has the year gone? I feel like it’s flown by! It feels like the longest yet shortest year of my life. It’s crazy to think that my “infant” will now be a “toddler”. She’s almost walking, understands everything, is starting to say some words and is quite a character. Mind boggling to think where the year has gone!

This is me just over 12 months ago:

This is Princess Peach now. I swear she’s a teenager already!!!

Did you think your baby’s first year went too fast? too slow?

Awww…Princess peach is so cute! 🙂

I can relate! My little guy will be one in 20 days. It definitely went by too fast!

How cute! Love that she is playing on the phone. I think Ace’s year went by just right. I didn’t feel like it was too fast or too slow. I enjoyed every new milestone more then the next which I think helped me not be so sad about him getting older. I also think his first couple of months of crying all.the.time. helped me not miss the newborn phase lol

She is phone obsessed! Actually she is technology obsessed! She just knows what are gadgets…not sure how 🙂 I’ve been enjoying all the milestones too. It’s really amazing to watch them discover the world around them!

I LOVE her hair. It is absolutely adorable. I can’t wait until my daughter has enough hair to put cute accessories in it. I have tried to put a little barrette in but it kind of just looked like I was trying too hard! Lol. I’m just going to wait until she actually has a decent amount of hair. I know what you mean about the year going by slowly and quickly at the same time. My little girl is 10 months, and I can’t believe she’s going to be a year in just a couple of months! I am so excited because it means I will get to introduce cow’s milk! Yay! No more pumping, and no more formula!

She has had hair since birth and never lost any so I become totally obsessed with hair accessories right away!!! Try a head band 🙂 We have an entire drawer filled with hair accessories! We introduced cow’s milk and 10.5 months. It makes everything so much easier!!! Any big plans for her first bday??

Super cute picture of “Princess Peach”. I think the first three months of my guy’s year went very slowly and then got faster and faster and faster as he got closer to a year! Now it’s flying…how do I have a 13 month old and only a few weeks left of a 14 month mat leave?

    • mscmommylife says:

knowing that there are only a few weeks left in mat leave is so hard! I remember thinking when she was 6 months old that I had 6+ months left which seemed like a lifetime. Trying to stretch out every second 🙂
