A summer to remember

I had high hopes for summer 2016. Really high hopes. After not being able to enjoy last summer because I was finishing chemo and had my double mastectomy, my goal this summer was to make it amazing! And amazing it was! We swam in the lake, we laughed, we ate ice cream daily, we spent so much time outdoors, we watched sunsets, and made millions of more memories!  I can’t believe how quickly 9 weeks have flown by and that yesterday was the first day of senior kindergarten for Princess Peach.

Here are some highlights from the summer:

Instead of a birthday party, Princess Peach and I went to NYC to visit my friend and her kids who were visiting from Australia. We had the most magical 5 days. Princess Peach fell in love with NYC especially Times Square at night!

We ended our summer by spending the long weekend at Family Camp. It was the perfect way to end an incredible summer!

I had a really hard time choosing some of my favourite pictures from the summer, but I narrowed it down to 10! Phew. What were some highlights from your summer?
