Princess Peach has been quite artsy these days. I’m sure a lot can be attributed to all the arts and crafts that she has been doing at daycare She is all over colouring, paper, and stickers. I like it. Actually, I LOVE it! By watching her explore and find her creative side, I am reliving a little part of being a kid. I loved colouring and doodling as a kid (fine, I still like to colour and doodle). I also had quite the sticker collection. A few months ago in anticipation of her loving arts and crafts (thank goodness she does) I purchased a few of Crayola’s “My first Crayola” products.
One product I purchased was the Mess-Free Marker and Paper. The marker is large and round and easy for a toddler to grip. The marker is also clear so it doesn’t matter what Princess Peach dabs or marks as nothing will get dirty! When the marker is on the paper rainbow colours appear. You can also buy replacement paper once the paper that comes in this kit is finished. I LOVE this product!
The Washable Stampers are so much fun.It didn’t take long for her to master pressing the stamper onto the paper and then lifting it off to watch the animal appear. The stampers are large and easy for her to hold. Without any mishaps yet, Princess Peach seems to understand that she is only to stamp paper. Keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way 🙂
The Washable Markers are another favourite. Again these are shaped for a toddler to grasp and use easily. Thank goodness that they are washable because Princess Peach doesn’t always seem to remember to keep the markers on the paper! They have a wide base that is great for Princess Peach to be able to close the marker herself as she is becoming Miss Independent!
And this is one of her latest creations (some of the squiggles are my doing)!
What arts and crafts are your kids into?Any favourite colouring products?
