True North Sports Camps

I come from a family of baseball players and people who just love the game. So, it was only natural that I would play baseball too. When I was growing up, there was one baseball league near my house that I could join. So, I did and played for 9 years as the only girl in my age group! Quite a claim to fame.

Princess Peach is a girly girl, but one who has more energy than 10 cups of coffee! Ever since she was a baby, we have been taking her to see the Blue Jays, and I’ve tried to instill a love of baseball unto her, while my husband has hoped she’d be a hockey player like him. The truth is, we just want her to play a sport!

Well, my wish is coming true 🙂 In May, she will be joining a baseball (t-ball)  league through True North Sports Camp! I’m so thrilled and was so happy that she said she wanted to try! She was a bit worried at first that the ball would hit her face, but I easily calmed her fears. Most of all, my dad, Princess Peach’s grandfather who was my baseball coach and still plays baseball at 66 years old (don’t tell him I published his age) is thrilled that his granddaughter will be learning the game too.
