Princess Peach LOVES to read. Obviously she can’t read by herself but she can often be found sitting quietly in her bedroom reading to herself on the floor or in her rocking chair. It really is the cutest thing ever! She has memorized some of her favourite books and “reads” them to herself sometimes and loves filling in the blanks.
Here is a video of her filling in the blanks to Sandra Boynton’s Moo, Baa, La la la
Here are some of her current favourite books:
Baby Beluga by Raffi
Where’s Spot? by Eric Hill (It’s been a favourite for a while and she can “read” it herself)
Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown
Moo, Baa, La la la by Sandra Boynton
Peek-a-moo! by Marie Torres Cimarusti
The going to bed book by Sandra Boynton
What books are your kids into? Are any of their favourites on this list?
We love a lot of those, too! My son recently made a Top 10 of his favs. Perhaps Princess Peach would enjoy some of his recommendations: http://www.realmomofnj.com/2013/02/21/realboys-top-10-baby-books/
PS – My son is 14 months old. He’s very well read. 😉
Your son’s list is awesome!!! First 100 words, Where’s is baby’s belly button and Little Hands Love are in our reading rotation. Will have to check his other suggestions out 🙂
