My kids are loving Yoplait Minigo Pouches plus a giveaway!

Princess Peach and Little Dude are now old enough to tell me what snacks and food they want to eat.  In fact, they both like to go into the fridge and help themselves to their favourite snacks. Even though it drives me crazy when they go into the fridge looking for what they want, I can help them by making sure my fridge is stocked with healthy snacks for them to reach for.

What are they reaching for these days? Yoplait Minigo pouches!

Ever since I discovered pouches of any kind my family has been huge fans! It is so easy for on-the-go independent snacking as well as for sending in Princess Peach’s school lunches. That’s why I’m so happy Yoplait Minigo is now available in pouches.

I have shared before that Princess Peach isn’t the best eater. At 4 years old she has declared herself a vegetarian, although she won’t eat all vegetables. Silly, I know!  If it was up to her, she would probably eat yogurt , cinnamon raisin bagels and grapes all day long. Now that we have Yoplait Minigo pouches in the fridge I love that she is eating something that is healthy for her growing body.

Yoplait Minigo pouches are specially designed for kids aged 1 to 5 and contain loads of good things to keep my kids strong and healthy. Here’s what’s inside:

  • Made with whole milk and real fruit
  • Available in strawberry or raspberry
  • 4 grams of protein per pouch which is 2x the amount compared to similar products
  • Contains Calcium and Vitamin D which are important for healthy bones and teeth
  • Does not contain any artificial colours or flavours
  • Each pouch contains 4.5 grams of fat to help in growth and development

Princess Peach’s response after she tried the Yoplait Minigo pouch the first time was awesome! She exclaimed “it tastes just like ice cream!” That made me a pretty happy mama. She’s eating something she loves that is healthy for her!

I mentioned above that I have been sending these to school. A simple trick that I’ve been doing to make sure that the pouches are cold for snack/lunch is putting them in the freezer the night before. In the morning when I’m packing Princess Peach’s lunch, I pull one out and stick it in her lunch bag. By the time she’s ready to eat it, it is the perfect temperature!

You can find Yoplait Minigo pouches are most retailers around the country in the yogurt section. The retail value of each pouch is $1.49.
