The Hubster reviews the New Schick Hydro 5 Razor plus a chance for you to review it too

If you see my husband with his beard, you might confuse him with Seth Rogen. Or without the beard he often gets told he looks like Will Farrell.  I see the resemblance too. Sometimes. People often comment on how similar they look. I’ve known my husband for 12 years and it wasn’t until the fall of 2013 that he started sporting a beard. He use to shave daily or every other day, until he had shoulder surgery and couldn’t shave for a few months. As much as I love him, there was no way I was going to shave his face! ha. I’ve gotten so use to his beard now that when he shaves he looks so different to me!

The Hubster was given the opportunity to review the newly redesigned Schick Hydro 5. The Hubster has very sensitive skin and the razor is designed to protect skin from irritation by providing instant lubrication with the gel reservoir. The gel reservoir is now wider and contains aloe vera and vitamin E. Other updated features include a larger guard bar at the base of the cartridge which is now larger than before. The five blades have also been moved closer together to help protect against nicks and cuts. The handle is still ergonomic but now has a sleeker look than before. The one feature that has stayed the same is the signature feature of the flip trimmer. By flipping the top of the razor back it lets all five blades touch the skin for those hard-to-reach places.

The Hubster is always game for testing out new products and I was excited to see him without a beard! So how did it go? He isn’t use to having an audience watch him shave but this is what he had to say: “I liked how it felt. It glided very nicely on my skin and now my skin feels very smooth. I liked that I didn’t get any cuts or nicks. I give it two thumbs up!”

So the new redesigned Schick Hydro 5 razor passed The Hubsters test. He’s definitely lost his Seth Rogan look and now looks more like Will Farrel. Either way, I think he looks great!
