Clickin’ it old school with Netflix #StreamTeam

There are many things that remind me of my childhood; neon clothing and accessories, Tretorn running shoes, fanny packs and certain television shows. One of those tv shows that I watched as a kid was The Facts of Life. I remember loving Blair and always thinking that Tootie was so funny! I loved the Jo was a tomboy and Natalie always showed great confidence in herself. Didn’t everyone think that going to an all-girls boarding school looked like a blast?!

The Facts of Life Netflix Canada

This month, I was clickin my remote old school with Netflix Canada as I re-watched The Facts of Life. I must admit that it is so great to have the opportunity to go back and watch a show that I remember loving as a kid. If you love binge watching on Netflix (who doesn’t!?) you can watch all 9 seasons thanks to Netflix Canada. I wasn’t even  born when the show started airing but I think it’s great that I can go back and watch the entire series! With TV stations inundated with reality television I really enjoyed the opportunity to watch a great sitcom. Not only is it a funny show but the series touches upon a lot of personal and social issues such as adoption, drug use, racism and disabilities.

The Facts of Life started as a spin off of the show Diff’rent Strokes, another show that I loved watching as a kid. I didn’t realize the connection of Mrs. Garret in the two shows until I went and watched them again. All 8 seasons of Diff’rent Strokes is also available on Netflix Canada. It’s hilarious!!! Watcha talkin about Willis?

Netflix helped me through many nighttime nursing sessions a year ago and in fact, one of my first binges at the time was The Facts of Life! I loved re-watching the George Clooney years the most. As a kid one of my favourite shows to watch was Three’s Company and I’d be over the moon if that was added to Netflix too.

Netflix is a total lifesaver for nursing moms! I watched so many shows last year when my baby was born too and I was up at all hours nursing! I wish they would add the movie Troop Beverly Hills!
