A toddlers summer bucket list or 35 things to do with your toddler in the summer

Having a toddler at home in the summer time is a lot of fun but also draining! We are always busy doing something. The best part about the summertime is that many of the activities that we are doing are free or low-cost. Sure, I’ve made a few trips to the store to buy some stuff but it’s the most simple things that entertain my daughter the most.

  1. Blow bubbles
  2. Draw with chalk
  3. Play catch
  4. Have a dance party
  5. Run through a sprinkler
  6. Go swimming
  7. Go to the beach
  8. Check out a local farmers market
  9. Read books
  10. Bake cupcakes
  11. Build a sandcastle
  12. Paint a picture
  13. Play eye-spy
  14. Go to a local park
  15. Check out a local splash pad
  16. Go to the zoo

  18. Pretend to go camping in your backyard

      Yes, sometimes parents get carried away that kids need complicated activities. Simple usually equals the most fun for all
