What I find most heartwarming during the holidays are of the stories of people spreading holiday cheer and being kind to one another. I love to hear all about the random acts of kindness people do to make others happy during this time of year. It’s easy to get caught up in the gift giving aspect of the holidays, that spreading kindness, happiness and love is really what the holidays are about! From donating toys and clothes to having a meal with someone who doesn’t have family to celebrate with, there are so many ways to make people happy and it often doesn’t have to cost a thing!
Recently, Koodo spread holiday cheer at the Toronto Christmas Market in the heart of the Distillery District. Eighty talented singers from Choir! Choir! Choir broke into a special rendition of The Cure hit, Friday I’m in Love. For 2 minutes and 36 seconds they made a lot of people happy with their performance. You can’t help singing along when you watch this. The Cure’s Robert Smith provided song rights in lieu of a donation. Koodo then passed it on, donating the song fee to Choir! Choir! Choir! to help to sponsor a Syrian refugee family. Now talk about a feel good thing to do during the holidays!
