Love Child Organics review and giveaway

Having two kids is busy! Having two little kids is even busier! When I started solids with Little Dude around 5.5 months old I wanted to make as much food for him as I could. I love that I know what is going into his body without any artificial stuff. Just natural and good food.  I enjoy making baby food for him and being creative with all the different flavour combinations. Most times it’s a success and he loves them! There are times when I’m busy and don’t have time to make food or I know we will be out and on the go I don’t like carrying containers of food for the fear that they will leak everywhere. Love Child Organics is my answer to those issues.

Love Child Organics is a Canadian (yay Canada!) company that makes delicious, organic purees in BPA free squeezable and resealable pouches. I love that I know all the ingredients that are listed on the package. There are three different stages of purees available.  There are four Super Firsts flavours (apple, mango, pear and peach) which are just the organic fruit puree. Easy, simple and delicious! Super Blends contain fruits, veggies and quinoa pureed together. The flavour combinations are great.  Little Dude gobbled up the blueberries, apples and banana puree. Power Yo’rridge contains fruit, yogurt and ancient grain puree is and available in three different flavours.

We were sent a variety of pouches for Little Dude and Princess Peach to try. My kids are squeezable pouch obsessed! I always have a few in my diaper bag because I never know who will need one and I’d rather offer them a healthy combination than grabbing some junk food on the go! Little Dude eats them as a meal and Princess Peach loves them as a snack!

I can only imagine how my oldest daughter’s eating habits would have been if she had this when she was a baby. She now waits anxiously for her baby sister to finish so she can have any possible leftovers. My littlest one loves the kiwi, apple, spinach and broccoli and the blueberry, banana and strawberry. She opens her mouth in anticipation and impatiently waits for the next spoonful. I am so happy they are made with organic ingredients!

  19. Brandi C says:

    Sweet potato

  20. bailey says:

first foods we tried were rice cereal, green beans, butternut squash – i did the 3 day method at first, but after realizing i had a kid with a good appetite and no apparent food allergies (so far!), i started giving him more puree mixes and different cereals. Squeeze pouches are a lifesaver and i love that they are healthy and organic 🙂

  21. First food, cereal aside, was sweet potato.

Absolutely love this brand! I tried a couple other organic food pouches previously, however this is the only brand my son doesn’t crinkle his nose at. Love mixing them with organic yogurt, and throwing a few in the diaper bag with the attachable spoon heads. So convenient! LOVE that they’re Canadian!

If anyone’s baby has issues with eating, I highly recommend Love Child Organics! I too make most of my lilttle guy’s food but do buy Love Child Organics… My son is 7mo and since day 1 of introducing him to this brand (1mo ago) he has held & sucked back the yummy food all on his own! No mess, no fuss, and one happy baby!

My baby’s first food was baby cereal. I felt pressured into trying it, but he wasn’t ready yet, so we waited some more. I made most of his food after, but when I tried pouches, he seemed to like them better than the food I made for him. The magic pouches are just better I guess.
