The Hubster, Swiffer and #ManClean #giveaway

My husband, the Swiffer and cleaning. For those of you who know him you might be laughing at this thought. The reality is that he’s not too shabby of a cleaner! Every evening after the kids are asleep, The Hubster and I divide and conquer cleaning up the house before we go to sleep.  The kitchen, and the playroom take up the most of our time but there is also laundry, the bathroom etc, etc, etc.  On occasion, when the kids are awake I will take them out of the house so that The Hubster can get a lot of cleaning done quickly on his own.  I sometimes have to check or fix up some of  his cleaning to my standards but I can’t complain!

The Hubster’s Man Clean Tips:

1) Listen to music or a book on tape when cleaning: The Hubster enjoys listening to books on tape and finds that it makes the time pass quicker and keeps him focused.

2) One room at a time: By focusing on one room at a time to clean you are ensuring that a thorough job is done. By mapping out everything you need to clean in a room before you start also makes sure that the room is impeccable clean before moving on to the next room.

3) Clean when no one else is home/around: It’s very easy to distracted when cleaning. By sending out your distractions aka kids, wife, pets you are ensuring that there isn’t much around to pull you away from cleaning!
